Son muchas las opiniones referidas al hecho y a la necesidad del arte. Teorías complejas que se afanan en defender un modelo intelectual como base de la creación artística . Sin duda. Pero por su honestidad y su franqueza, lo que más comparto son las palabras pronunciadas por un venerable amigo al referirse al arte como: un compromiso, una pasión y un refugio.
Presentar la obra de este artista ha sido para mi un acto de honestidad obligado, pues en ella encuentro la honradez de una persona con una visión lúcida del mundo que le rodea y de una intimidad próxima que refleja en cada una de sus obras con una atención poco usual... Mi intention is no other than to declare the
final point I’m seeking in every one of my creations, without
knowing exactly if I will reach this point.
The mayor part of my work concentrates on the
exploration of chromatic effects through textures and layers of
colour. Often, objects emerge on their own, isolated, naked
almost. It’s this nakedness, this emptiness where I find the
reason to concentrate on them, to radicly upset mi intention to
explain colour, a simple detail between two crossing lines or
two overlapping brush strokes
It would be pedantically to affirm that the final
result is always the desired one. In front of any subject,
observation and reflexion are of absolute necessity and the
image of the work to be created is often very different from the
finished work.
In the end I admit that I’m not the owner nor
the creator of the work, if not the work itself, definitely, it
seems it uses me, conducts me and conditions me in order to bend
the original idea.
